As the source of a choice that was taken care of in all of its details, the Magnifico team decided to evolve the identity of Artmag into “The Art Journal”.
The Magnifico team thought it appropriate to give a new, powerful, more unique and bold image to tell the identity of this project.
The Art Journal was originally the most important British art magazine of the 19th century. It was founded in 1839 by Hodgson & Graves, print publishers, 6 Pall Mall, under the title Art Union Monthly Journal (or The Art Union); the first issue of 750 copies was published on 15 February 1839. The journal was published in London, but its reach was global.
We’re proudly bringing it’s name back while keeping up with it’s very important mission: inform about art, showcase artists and protect the art world from unfaithful attempts to exploit collectors with intellectual, artistic or practical frauds.
The task and mission of The Art Journal is to accompany each Artist on their own personal journey, by other artists. The basic principle that the team has faithfully followed has been “To assist the Artist in his or her personal journey as we would have wished for ourselves.”
According to this value, the team renewed the name of its Identity in The Art Journal so that it can return to have a place of reference in the collective artistic memory.

A fonte di una scelta curata nei mini dettagli, il gruppo di Magnifico ha deciso di evolvere l’identità di Artmag in “The Art Journal“.
Il team di Magnifico ha ritenuto opportuno dare un’immagine nuova, più potente, unica e audace per raccontare l’identità di questo progetto.
The Art Journal era in origine la più importante rivista d’arte britannica del XIX secolo. Fu fondata nel 1839 da Hodgson & Graves, editori di stampe, 6 Pall Mall, con il titolo Art Union Monthly Journal (o The Art Union); il primo numero di 750 copie fu pubblicato il 15 febbraio 1839. La rivista era pubblicata a Londra, ma la sua portata era globale.
Siamo orgogliosi di riportare in auge il suo nome mantenendo la sua importante missione: informare sull’arte, presentare gli artisti e proteggere il mondo dell’arte dai tentativi infedeli di sfruttare i collezionisti con frodi intellettuali, artistiche o pratiche.
Il compito e la missione di The Art Journal è quello di accompagnare ogni artista nel suo viaggio personale, attraverso altri artisti. Il principio di base che il team ha fedelmente seguito è stato: “Assistere l’Artista nel suo viaggio personale come avremmo desiderato per noi stessi”.
In base a questo valore, l’équipe ha rinnovato il nome della sua Identità in “The Art Journal” affinché esso possa ritornare ad essere un punto di riferimento nella memoria artistica collettiva.
